This role supports a fast-paced company with staff in multiple states and growing. This position will work onsite in Arlington, VA and remote at times based on requirements of the project teams and the overall activities.\nPrevious experience with federal contracting and an entrepreneurial environment is desired. We are looking for a genuine, people-person who will actively engage with and support our team members in their project roles. This role will also be responsible for all recruiting functions. Technical recruiting experience is required. Each day you'll source, vet, and prepare candidates for the internal interview process. If you are interested in working on challenging problems, having fun along the way with a team of passionate professionals, and making a difference for end users, you'll fit right in.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDrives team member engagement programs and initiatives \nOversees and manages day-to-day HR activities \nDevelops HR strategy for the company in concert with the Support Team \nOversees the onboarding and offboarding process for all team members to ensure smooth transitions \nSources candidates from various recruiting platforms and referrals \nCandidate management which includes communication, tracking, and scheduling \nWork closely with Project Leads on candidate pipelines \nTracks training and professional development across the entire company including requests and completion, making suggestions when needed \nAssists with Payroll process and compensation updates \nMaintains personnel files using confidentiality on all matters \nConducts investigations as needed for company issues \nCollaborates with Admin Leads on personnel issues and files appropriate documentation \nProvides HR Policy guidance and keeps the company Employee Handbook up to date including state addendums \nOffers performance management guidance to all leaders \nCollaborates, directs and manages various vendors on benefits and insurance products/programs that support the team \nPlans and supports company functions for both in-person and remote team members to promote collaboration and facilitate employee gatherings \nEnsures compliance with Federal, state, and local laws \nWorks in tandem with leadership to execute Human Resources strategies \nResearch application of employment law in concert with corporate attorneys and other vendors \nWorks on ad-hoc assignments as needed; special projects \nProvides support in coordinating employee business travel and expense reporting \nSupports resolution of GXM team member emergency issues after hours, weekends, etc. based on timeliness of the issue and priorities \nRequirements\nRequirements\nBachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business \nMinimum of 10 years' experience in HR field and supervision \nExperience in the Federal government contracting space, specifically with OFCCP compliance \nPC-based strong familiarity and usage \nExperience with HRIS/ATS system (Paylocity strongly preferred) \nExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail in writing and verbal communications \nStrong ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced and dynamic environment \nMember of SHRM \nPrevious experience in Technical Recruiting required \nExperience recruiting for a federal contractor \nAbility to build rapport with candidates \nStrong organizational skills in team and independent work environments \nExceptional communication skills across all levels \nAbility to track and schedule multiple recruiting efforts \nUS citizenship is required \nDesired:\nMasters in Human Resource Management \nHR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) \nPrevious experience in a start-up / virtual work culture \nServant Leadership \n“Get to yes” professional approach \nHourly rate between $50/hour to $75/hour + annual bonus eligibility, and 401(k)\nActual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, federal government contracting and OFCCP experience, technical recruiting background, certifications, and overall alignment with the responsibilities of the position.\nEqual Employment Opportunity / Legal Disclaimer\nGXM Technologies LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility.
