Here at GXO, we're looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at our Shared User operation in Crick (NN6 7GZ). In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods to and from customer delivery locations, completing an average of 2 to 5 drops per shift.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 47.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start times between 02:30 and 15:00, depending on customer requirements.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries of to retail stores and distribution points
• Drivers must be prepared to spend nights away from base when operational needs require it
• Ensuring timely and safe delivery, providing excellent customer service at every drop
• Maintaining a high standard of customer service during all deliveries
• Performing vehicle checks and keeping accurate delivery records
• Performing occasional warehouse duties as needed

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category C/C+E entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
