Successful candidates will represent the Company with our clients through proposal, contract, and project performance phases and be responsible for the day-to-day execution of technical and financial aspects of projects.\nWhat you will be getting:\nSmall firm feel with a larger firm reputation and resources.\nDirect access to leadership - at GZA you are not just a number!\nCollaboration with a staff of interrelated professionals dedicated to providing high-level expertise on a variety of projects differing in scope and size.\nOwnership opportunities and a clear path to Principal.\nGenerous, company-subsidized benefits package and paid time off.\nFlexible hybrid work environment.\nWhat you will be doing:\nManaging project teams, delegating to office and field staff, and executing day-to-day activities of projects.\nMonitoring project performance for compliance with contractual requirements and budgets.\nOversight and execution of technical design deliverables in accordance with applicable QA/QC guidelines.\nPreparing proposals and reviewing/writing geotechnical deliverables with Principal guidance and review.\nParticipating in staff mentoring, training and reviews.\nWhat you will be bringing:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree with Geotechnical Engineering specialization preferred.\nExperience with design and construction of deep and shallow foundations for buildings, bridges, retaining walls and other structures, slope stability and other geotechnical evaluations.\nProficiency in the execution and successful management of multiple office and field tasks.\nDemonstrated delegation, leadership, and team building skills.\nEstablished computer skills using MS Office and geotechnical engineering software (experience with programs such as SEEP/W, SLOPE/W, L-pile, DeepEX, or similar).\nAbility to work locally and regionally. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing and have a consistent means of reliable transportation to/from work.\nThe base salary for this position may range between $114,000.00 to $147,000.00.
