This position plays an important role in keeping production running smoothly by moving materials, replenishing production lines, and transporting finished goods throughout the facility.\nThe ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while following all safety guidelines.\nJob Responsibilities\nOperate a forklift safely to move raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility.\nDeliver materials to production lines to support daily manufacturing operations.\nLoad, unload, transport, and organize materials in designated areas.\nMove finished products to assigned staging and storage locations.\nConfirm material types, quantities, and placement as needed.\nFollow production schedules and material handling procedures.\nPerform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.\nFollow company safety policies, operating procedures, and applicable OSHA regulations.\nWork closely with production employees, supervisors, and other team members.\nAssist with additional warehouse, production, and material handling tasks as assigned.\nRequirements\nPrevious forklift experience preferred.\nAbility to work safely in a busy manufacturing environment.\nStrong attention to detail and good situational awareness.\nAbility to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.\nDependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent attendance.\nFlexibility to work overtime or weekends when production demands require it.\nWillingness to follow all company safety rules and forklift operating procedures.\nMust pass a national background check as a condition of employment.\nSchedule and Hours\nDays: Monday through Friday\nHours: 6:00 AM-2:00 PM\nOvertime: May be required based on production needs.\nWeekend Availability: May be necessary during periods of increased production.\nBenefits\n Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour\nFull-time, union position\nPaid time off available after 90 days of employment\nMedical insurance available after 90 days of employment\nDental insurance available after 90 days of employment\nVision insurance available after 90 days of employment\nBenefit eligibility and coverage, along with other employment terms, are governed by company policies and the applicable collective bargaining agreement.\nWork Environment\nThis role is based in a manufacturing facility where employees operate around production machinery, materials, and industrial vehicles.
