Learn more at www.hbfuller.com.\nPosition Overview\nThe Production Operator - Mixing is responsible for manufacturing materials to support extrusion and bulk filling operations. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of mixing equipment, maintains product quality standards, and accurately records production activities. The position plays an active role in continuous improvement initiatives while supporting a safe and productive manufacturing environment.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nOperate mixing machinery safely and efficiently to meet production requirements.\nManufacture materials for supply to the extruder floor and bulk filling operations.\nMonitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.\nPurge and clean mixing equipment according to established procedures.\nAccurately record production data, material usage, downtime, and changeovers.\nComplete daily activity records and required production documentation.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.\nReport equipment defects or operational concerns to the Production Team Leader.\nCollaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets within agreed timeframes.\nParticipate in site and company continuous improvement initiatives.\nMinimum Requirements\nGCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics.\nGCSE (or equivalent) in English.\nAbility to interpret detailed work orders and batch cards.\nAbility to communicate effectively within a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to be trained and certified in the operation of mixing machinery.\nAbility to work as part of a manufacturing team.\nAbility to safely perform production duties in a manufacturing environment.\nPreferred Requirements\nCounterbalance Forklift Licence.\nPrevious experience operating manufacturing or processing equipment.\nExperience working within a production or industrial environment.\nKnowledge of quality and safety procedures within manufacturing.\nExperience contributing to continuous improvement activities.\nH.B.
