Learn more at www.hbfuller.com.\nPosition Overview\nThe Process Engineer drives safe, reliable, and efficient adhesive manufacturing processes. This role focuses on improving First Pass Yield (FPY), reducing process variation, scrap, and downtime, while supporting quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Engineering to optimize processes, implement capital projects, and enhance manufacturing performance.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nImprove process safety, reliability, quality, and throughput.\nLead root cause investigations and process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methodologies.\nDevelop and maintain SOPs, process controls, and manufacturing standards.\nDrive improvements in FPY, scrap reduction, cycle time, and equipment effectiveness.\nSupport new product introductions, process scale-up, and manufacturing trials.\nLead capital projects related to mixers, processing equipment, material handling, automation, utilities, and manufacturing capacity from scope development through startup and commissioning.\nPartner with Maintenance to improve preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability for mixers and critical process equipment.\nAnalyze manufacturing data and implement sustainable solutions that improve performance.\nCollaborate cross-functionally to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.\n3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.\nExperience with continuous improvement, Kaizen, Six Sigma, SPC, root cause analysis, and Lean manufacturing principles.\nStrong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.\nAbility to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment.\nPreferred Requirements\nExperience with mixing, batch processing, or chemical manufacturing.\nLean Six Sigma certification.\nExperience with capital projects and equipment startups.\nKnowledge of SPC, process capability analysis, and preventive maintenance programs.\nExperience with industrial mixing equipment such as high-shear mixers, dispersers, or planetary mixers.\nPay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.\nThe salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000.In addition to your salary, H.B.
