Learn more at www.hbfuller.com.\nQuality Control Technician\nChagrin Falls, OH\n2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11pm, Monday - Friday, Occasional Overtime and Weekends during the busy season (April - September)\nPay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour based on experience + $2.00 Shift Differential (for 2nd Shift)\nPosition Overview\nThe Quality Control Technician I conducts testing of samples to ensure product batches and finished goods meet all quality specifications. Sampling and testing of incoming raw material bulk tanker loads (primarily industrial solvent liquids). Some troubleshooting and problem solving is involved.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPerforms testing of finished goods and in-process line samples to ensure they are within quality specifications\nDetermine how to correct out-of-spec materials and direct production to make those adjustments\nEnsure safe and appropriate practices in lab\nTesting requirements include but not limited to viscosities, densities, gel times, etc.\nPrepares & tests samples for advanced testing (i.e. peel and shear strength)\nMaintains daily quality log, history files, etc.\nMaintains the sample retain room\nInterprets and applies inspection & tagging instructions, procedures and standards\nSupports production for process testing\nGeneral housekeeping of QC Lab including cleaning and maintaining test equipment\nAuthors test procedures and work instructions as needed\nInitiates non-conformance &Trial Material reporting\nSupports customer service for complaint investigations\nSupports R&D development testing, as needed\nMonitor lab equipment calibration testing and report as needed\nMinimum Requirements\nNeeds a high school diploma or equivalent\n1 year of lab experience or education in chemistry lab\nMust be able to do basic math\nWalking, pushing, pulling, stretching, and lifting 50 lbs\nAble to perform job with minimal supervision\nGood organizational skills; able to keep records\nSome mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills are required\nExperience with shiftwork\nPay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.\nThe salary for this role is $22.00 - $26.00 per (based on experience) + $2.00 Shift Differential.In addition to your salary, H.B.
