Learn more at www.hbfuller.com.\nQuality Control Lab Technician\nGrand Rapids, MI\n12-nights (2-2-3 schedule), 6pm-6:30am\nPosition Overview\nThe Quality Lab Technician supports manufacturing by performing accurate testing on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products. This role ensures timely communication of test results, batch adjustments, and release decisions to operations teams. The technician also initiates notifications and conducts preliminary investigations for non-conforming materials.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPerform chemical, physical, and visual testing using standard procedures\n\nRecord test data and usage decisions in SAP\n\nDetermine raw material adjustment amounts to meet specifications\n\nCollect and store retain samples as required\n\nCreate non-conformance notifications and complete initial investigations\n\nSupport customer complaint investigations through batch and sample review\n\nMaintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and housekeeping standards\n\nPrepare reagents and ensure readiness for scheduled production testing\n\nMinimum Requirements\nJunior college degree or higher in a chemistry-related field\n\nLaboratory experience\n\nAbility to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams\n\nProficiency with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\n\nAbility to follow safety requirements and use appropriate PPE\n\nPreferred Requirements\nExperience in the chemical industry\n\nValid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally\n\nFamiliarity with SAP data entry processes\n\nExperience collaborating in multinational environments\n\nPay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.\nThe salary for this role is $26.00 - $29.00 per hour based on experience.In addition to your salary, H.B.
