Learn more at www.hbfuller.com.\nSmall Machine Operator\nMichigan Center, MI\nPosition: 3rd Shift Must be available for all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)\n$19.45 per hour + $0.75 shift differential\n(3 year pay progression: after year 1: $1.00 increase, after year 2: $2.00 increase, after year 3: $2.00 increase)\nPRIMARY DUTIES\nThe Production Operator performs entry-level production activities, generally under supervision, while maintaining H.B. Fuller standards for safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping.\nPrimary responsibilities include:\nPrepare raw materials and packaging by identifying and staging the correct materials and quantities for production.\nTransport raw materials and packaging to the appropriate production areas and report any deviations or discrepancies.\nAccurately document the start and completion of production processes as required.\nOperate processing and production equipment in accordance with established work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.\nMonitor equipment and production processes to maintain desired operating and production rates.\nPerform initial product testing and release activities to ensure products meet established specifications and quality requirements.\nVerify labels and packaging materials for accuracy and ensure products are labeled in accordance with established procedures.\nPackage finished products according to work instructions and H.B. Fuller quality standards.\nFollow all applicable H.B. Fuller Quality Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through established housekeeping practices.\nIdentify and report production, equipment, safety, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Supervisor.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.\nNo previous manufacturing experience required.\nBasic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.\nAbility to read, understand, and follow work orders, production procedures, safety requirements, quality procedures, and written instructions.\nAbility to accurately follow established processes and procedures.\nAbility and willingness to work assigned shifts, including overtime and weekends as required.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nOne (1) year of experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or similar work environment.\nPrevious experience operating production or processing equipment.\nBasic English communication and comprehension skills.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT\nAbility to stand for extended periods of time.\nAbility to walk and climb stairs throughout the shift.\nAbility to use hands to handle, remove, move, or lift boxes and production materials.\nAbility to reach and stretch with arms extended.\nAbility to stoop, bend, and perform repetitive movements as required.\nAbility to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.\nAbility to work in a chemical manufacturing environment where exposure to varying temperatures, dust, odors, and noise may occur.\nAbility to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety requirements.\nPay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.\nThe salary for this role is $19.45 per hour + $0.75 shift differential (3 year pay progression: after year 1: $1.00 increase, after year 2: $2.00 increase, after year 3: $2.00 increase)..In addition to your salary, H.B.
