Learn more at www.hbfuller.com.\nRESPONSABILITIES AND DUTIES:\nInternal Controls - Sox Program (LATAM, NA and ANZ): According to the SOX program, there are several processes/tasks scheduled during the year that require timely completion to ensure quarterly and annual internal controls review and assessment based on COSO Framework.\nEnsure LATAM, NA and ANZ Regions compliance with the SOX program.\nSet up quarterly certifications and ensure timely certification compliance according to the established due dates.\nReview SOX certifications, changes will be analyzed and communicated in order to coordinate the changes in the documentation of the control.\nSOX testing: Ensure timely testing compliance according to the deadline assigned. For deficient controls, and based on the remediation plan established, give follow up for the remediation of the deficiencies. \nMonitoring of testing performed, compliance and pending certifications and/or tests.\nTrain testers, and persons who performed the different controls to ensure adherence to policies and review to the mitigation of errors and/or deviation from company policies.\nResponsible for reporting identified SOX deficiencies to the Internal Controls Sr Manager\nDefine the remediation plan for the SOX deficiencies in colaboration with the Process Owner, Internal Controls Sr Manager and Regional Finance teams, as applicable.\nWorking with process owners to perform walk-throughs to validate that NA, LATAM and ANZ SOX controls are designed effectively.\nSupport the external auditors and internal audit in their testing of the controls\nReview and perform additional independent tests of the LATAM, NA and ANZ management self- testing, as needed;\nSupport in the evaluation to determine if the defined LATAM, NA and ANZ SOX controls are in place and are effective;\nMake recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the program\nProvide support, as needed, for business acquisitions and restructuring activities\nWorking with management to ensure that appropriate process owners and testers are selected and that staff have sufficient knowledge to ensure that they carry out their duties effectively\nTrain collaborators in the use of AuditBoard/Optro Software and the correct executions of SOX controls.\nSupport in the development and follow up of SOX controls in new entities.\nPerform a review of procedures, and policies applied by different areas in order to determine areas of risk.\nOther tasks and project work as required.\nGlobal DOA administration/coordination: This position is responsible for defining process and ownership for updating DOA.\nDefine process and ownership for updating DOA.\nProvide guidance to the current Delegation of Authority (DOA) users and department.\nSupport with updates to the DOA matrix based on the changes in level or users\nSpecial projects (transitions or merges) and Continuous Improvement support\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nDegree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field or a recognized accountancy qualification\nStrong Knowledge of SOX and Internal Management Controls\nMinimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in SOX Controls preferably in multinational companies or Share Service Center;\nAccomplished in MS -Office and SAP.\nAccounting experience\nEfficient, organized, and structured\nAn excellent communicator, adept at working across functions and cultures.\nLanguages Spanish and English, other languages an asset.
