Fuller seeks an Associate Technical Specialist to support customer applications, technical service activities, and market development initiatives across East Africa. This is a development-focused role designed to build expertise in adhesive products, application equipment, substrates, and manufacturing processes. The position works closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and customers to deliver technical support, product training, and innovative solutions while developing into a market-facing technical expert.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nSupport customer application trials, product demonstrations, and troubleshooting activities\nAssist customers with product selection, application methods, and equipment-related questions\nBuild technical knowledge of adhesives, substrates, manufacturing processes, and application equipment\nAnalyze performance data and prepare technical reports and presentations\nConduct customer training sessions on products, applications, and equipment usage\nCollaborate with sales teams to support key accounts and business opportunities\nParticipate in market research, industry events, and identification of emerging trends\nSupport new product launches and provide feedback to Marketing and R&D teams\nMinimum Requirements\nHigh school diploma with 4+ years of relevant technical experience, or Associate/Technical degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field\nBasic understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, or industrial applications\nStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to learn technical concepts and work effectively in a team environment\nAuthorization to work in Kenya and willingness to travel as required\nPreferred Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline\nAt least 1 year of experience or training in adhesives, application equipment, machinery, or substrates\nTechnical certification related to applications, machinery, or adhesives\nExperience supporting customer-facing technical projects or product demonstrations\nH.B.
