You will be responsible for all aspects of portfolio management, including solicitation or submissions, underwriting analysis, preparing and issuing indications/quotations/binders and marketing for our Excess liability products to an exclusive wholesale broker. The role also requires the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, and underwriting risks in accordance with company guidelines and standards.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and execute marketing strategies to promote our Excess Liability products to an exclusive wholesale broker.\nBuild and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, agents, and internal teams, to drive business growth and retention.\nEvaluate and underwrite Excess Liability risks, ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures.\nAnalyze and interpret data to determine risks and potential exposures. \nAnalyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging risks to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.\nCollaborate with the underwriting team to assess and price risks effectively while maintaining profitability targets.\nProvide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering timely underwriting decisions.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field. \n1-3 years of experience in the Excess & Surplus Lines Insurance Industry \nStrong knowledge of insurance principles, underwriting practices, and industry regulations.\nProven track record of building and managing relationships with brokers and/or agents.\nExcellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.\nAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nEffective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.\nAbility to travel: 10-15%\nProficiency in Microsoft 365 Products: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook\nBenefits: \nCompetitive base compensation\nHealth benefits & 401K with employer match\nEmployer paid continuing education courses and designations\nMany opportunities for career advancement\nAbout Our Company\nA premier national provider of property and casualty insurance, Atain is an A.M.
