WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1

As a Strategic Account Manager - Clinical Lead, you will be a member of the H1 Account Team for one of H1's top 20 pharmaceutical accounts. You will develop deep, trusted relationships with Clinical team stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact and product expert for H1's Clinical suite. Deeply embedded in your client's organization, you will understand the pressures of trial timelines and site performance, position solutions that address their evolving needs, and help them unlock the full value of H1's data solutions and AI-powered Clinical solutions. This is a quota-carrying role responsible for driving account retention, renewal readiness, and expansion across ARR and Services opportunities.

You will:

- Lead discovery conversations, product demonstrations, and other sales activities to qualify expansion opportunities and communicate the value of H1's Clinical product suite.

- Build trusted, consultative relationships with mid-level stakeholders across Clinical Operations, Site Selection, Feasibility, Patient Recruitment, and Regulatory functions, serving as a knowledgeable and reliable point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle.

- Execute multi-stakeholder account strategies that drive retention, renewal readiness, and expansion, identifying and progressing ARR and Services upsell opportunities across therapeutic areas, geographies, and study phases.

- Support Executive Business Reviews by contributing account health insights, product utilization data, and strategic expansion narratives that demonstrate H1's value in accelerating trial timelines and reducing site risk.

- Proactively monitor accounts for risk signals, including low adoption, stakeholder turnover, or competitive activity, and develop mitigation plans to protect against churn.

- Become a deep product specialist in H1's Clinical suite, staying current on new features, use cases, and the evolving landscape of clinical trial data needs to credibly advise customers and internal teams.

- Translate customer feedback and unmet needs to shape H1's roadmap for Clinical-focused solutions.

- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline and revenue forecasting for your accounts, providing timely deal progression updates to leadership.

- Partner with other members of the Account Team (Account Director, Customer Success Managers, and Implementation Managers) to ensure seamless onboarding, ongoing engagement, and escalation support.

ABOUT YOU

You are a strategic, client-focused sales professional who thrives at the intersection of data, life sciences, and clinical research. You bring credibility and confidence when engaging stakeholders across Clinical Operations and Study Feasibility functions. You are skilled at building relationships across multiple layers of an organization, uncovering expansion opportunities, and managing complex accounts with rigor and care.

REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years of experience in B2B enterprise SaaS account management or sales, or hands-on experience within Clinical Operations, Site Selection, or Feasibility teams at a Pharma, Biotech, or CRO organization.
