Patient Coordinator | Full-Time | Pediatrics | Tyler, TX

In this role, you'll serve as a key connection between families, clinicians, and administrative staff, ensuring children receive timely access to the therapy services they need. Your Role
- Manage daily therapist and patient schedules to maintain an efficient clinic workflow.
- Proactively fill open appointment times through waitlists, rescheduling efforts, and last-minute scheduling opportunities.
- Contact families regarding scheduling updates, cancellations, and appointment availability.
- Maintain at least one month of schedules in the Raintree EMR platform.
- Update patient information, authorizations, and waitlist records to support continuity of care.
- Collaborate closely with Clinical Coordinators and treatment teams to maximize scheduling efficiency.
- Assist new families with scheduling and connecting to appropriate clinic resources.
- Support front-office and administrative operations while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with scheduling systems, documentation, and administrative tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional communication standards.
