In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable cloud environments while working directly with enterprise customers to deliver production-grade solutions in their cloud infrastructure.\nThis is a hands-on role for an engineer with strong cloud and DevOps fundamentals who is excited to grow in customer-facing delivery. You will collaborate with Customer Success, Enterprise Support, and Product Engineering to help customers successfully deploy production-grade solutions and continuously improve their environments.\nThis position is based in Sydney, Australia.\nWhat You Will Do\nCloud Infrastructure & Platform Delivery\nDeploy, maintain, and improve secure, scalable systems on AWS and Kubernetes.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.\nSupport reliability, performance, security, and scalability of customer cloud environments.\nImplement cloud security best practices across IAM, networking, encryption, and access controls.\nDevOps & Automation\nDesign and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.\nAutomate operational processes and environment provisioning.\nImplement observability frameworks including metrics, logging, monitoring, alerting.\nManage release and configuration processes for production systems.\nDeploy and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters.\nTroubleshoot and optimize containerized workloads.\nWork with tooling such as kubectl, Helm, ingress controllers, and cloud-native services.\nCustomer Delivery\nWork directly with enterprise customers and partners to support deployments and operational improvements.\nTranslate technical requirements into practical implementation plans.\nContribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement recommendations.\nSupport incident resolution and troubleshooting across cloud and Kubernetes environments.\nCollaborate with internal teams to surface product feedback and improve deployment experience.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n2+ years of experience in cloud, DevOps, platform engineering, or related roles.\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS.\nExperience deploying cloud-based applications \nExperience building CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure.\nStrong troubleshooting skills across Linux, containers, networking, and distributed systems.\nPrior experience in customer-facing technical roles within banking or financial services is highly advantageous.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong learning mindset and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.\nPreferred Skills\nInfrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation\nKubernetes and container orchestration\nCI/CD tooling: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar\nMonitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-native monitoring\nCloud security fundamentals\nScripting with Bash, Python, or similar.\nHow to Stand Out From the Crowd\nExposure to GCP/Azure is a plus.\nCloud, Kubernetes, or AI/ML certifications.\nExperience supporting AI/ML or data-intensive workloads.\nFamiliarity with security, compliance, or data governance requirements.\nExposure to Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, MiroFish, OpenClaw, etc.)\nWhy H2O.ai?\nMarket leader in total rewards\nRemote-friendly culture\nFlexible working environment\nBe part of a world-class team\nCareer growth\nH2O.ai is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive culture.
