This is a hands-on opportunity for students eager to work directly with autonomous aircraft-not just observe, but actively contribute to real hardware and engineering decisions. Interns will collaborate closely with the founding engineering team across aircraft design, prototyping, avionics, simulation, manufacturing, and flight-testing.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport the design, build, and testing of autonomous aircraft prototypes.\n\nWork in one or more key areas: airframe design, mechanical design, prototyping, avionics, controls, simulation, manufacturing, or flight-test support.\n\nBuild, assemble, modify, and repair aircraft hardware.\n\nCreate CAD models, test fixtures, documentation, analysis, or simulation tools according to your background.\n\nAssist with flight-test preparation, data review, repairs, and design iteration.\n\nWork directly with engineers to turn test results into tangible improvements.\n\nOwn a meaningful project that directly contributes to our aircraft development program.\n\nYou May Be a Fit If You Are\nPursuing a degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, robotics, computer engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.\n\nExcited about aircraft, drones, autonomy, hardware, or medical logistics.\n\nHands-on and willing to work in a shop, hangar, or field-test environment.\n\nComfortable learning quickly and navigating ambiguity.\n\nPractical, self-directed, and ready to take ownership.\n\nEager to work in an early-stage startup where priorities shift quickly and the work is meaningful.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with CAD, 3D printing, drones, aircraft, robotics, controls, simulation, electronics, or manufacturing.\n\nParticipation in student projects like rocketry, Formula SAE, robotics, UAV teams, design teams, research labs, or personal hardware projects.\n\nFamiliarity with Python, MATLAB, SolidWorks, ArduPilot, PX4, electronics, composites, or flight testing.\n\nExperience building something that had to actually work in the real world.\n\nWe care more about agency, ownership, taste, and evidence that you can build than whether you match every bullet point.
