The ideal candidate should be capable of independently testing web applications, validating AI-generated data against source documents, identifying defects, and ensuring that applications meet business requirements.\nExperience with AI-powered document processing, financial documents, mortgage applications, or data extraction systems will be an added advantage.\nKey ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to prepare test scenarios and test cases.\nPerform manual testing of web applications and validate application behavior from the end user's perspective.\nValidate AI-extracted information against original documents, including payslips, bank statements, tax summaries, and other financial documents.\nIdentify data mismatches, extraction errors, UI inconsistencies, functional defects, and critical issues.\nDesign and execute positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case test scenarios.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, UI, and exploratory testing.\nReport defects with clear descriptions, screenshots, expected versus actual results, and reproducible steps.\nUse JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools to log, assign, prioritize, track, retest, and close defects.\nCoordinate with frontend and backend developers to investigate and resolve issues.\nVerify bug fixes and perform regression testing before release.\nParticipate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, reviews, and other SDLC activities.\nMaintain test documentation, test cases, bug reports, and QA status updates.\nWork independently while coordinating with multiple development teams.\nIdentify potential usability, accessibility, performance, and scalability concerns and coordinate appropriate testing.\nRequired Skills & QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.\nStrong understanding of manual testing fundamentals and software testing methodologies.\nExperience preparing test scenarios and test cases from requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\nGood understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).\nHands-on experience with defect tracking and management using JIRA.\nAbility to identify, document, prioritize, and communicate defects effectively.\nExperience with functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to understand business requirements and evaluate application behavior from a customer perspective.\nCapability to manage testing activities independently with minimal supervision.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred SkillsExperience testing AI-powered applications or machine learning-based products.\nExperience validating data extracted from PDFs, bank statements, payslips, tax documents, and other structured or unstructured documents.\nExposure to fintech, mortgage, banking, financial services, or document-processing applications.\nBasic knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman.\nBasic SQL knowledge for data validation.\nFamiliarity with
