Your task will be to bring our game ideas to life in cooperation with the designers and product owners.\nThe Role\nAs a Game Developer at Hacksaw Studios, you will play a key role in bringing our game concepts to life on screen. Gameplay design is a key part of your role, as you help shape how each game feels and plays. Your task will be to bring our game ideas to life in cooperation with designers and product owners.\nWe offer a nice office in central Stockholm, an opportunity to work with other experienced game developers, as well as a co-ownership program for suitable candidates.\nYour key responsibilities include:\nWork with the development and design team to create new games and update old games, as required.\nMaintain and implement new features into our game development framework.\nParticipate in code reviews and merge requests.\nCollaborate with colleagues who have similar roles, both in-house and with our partners.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nExperience with a programming language suited for game development, such as C#, Haxe, C++, Javascript, TypeScript, or similar.\nExperience with game development, or a solid development background, and a strong desire to learn.\nAn eye for detail and an interest in performance and player experience.\nA strong sense of responsibility and the ability to take initiative in your work.\nNice-to-have:\nExperience with some form of game development library, such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Pixi, or similar.\nShader programming experience.\n3d programming experience, such as OpenGL.\nA working knowledge of how a browser communicates with a back-end server.\nExperience in debugging.\nSocial gaming experience.\nA personal interest in games and an understanding of the industry, or a desire to learn.\nPractical Details\nThis is an on-site position in Stockholm.\nUnfortunately, we cannot assist with relocation or visa sponsorship.\nReady to Join the Game Makers?\nApply now!
