Supported by a team of professionals skilled in design, sourcing, production, sales, marketing & distribution of premium quality children’s wear, Haddad distributes globally to 100+ countries and maintains sales and sourcing offices in 22 cities globally, including New York, Paris, Hilversum, Shanghai, Egypt, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Montreal.\nOverview:\nThe Sourcing Manager will oversee the sourcing and production of a department or brand and work closely with overseas offices to ensure the development of new resources and resolve quality and delivery issues.\nKey Accountabilities:\nWork closely with the Product Approval team and overseas offices to achieve quality and on-time delivery \nCollaborate with capacity planning team to strategically place orders \nIdentify, resolve and follow up on all quality and testing issues \nAlign with capacity and PA teams on priority styles by season \nAssist with negotiations on FOB prices with overseas vendors in order to meet financial goals with Sourcing Director and Senior Sourcing Manager \nPartner with cross functional teams to identify opportunities to maximize the capacities in overseas factories \nPartner with Design and overseas partners to effectively cost new products within our approved vendor base \nAlign with Demand Planning teams to review and finalize all order placement for global and domestic orders \nCreate and share pricing projections with international customers \nRecruit top talent, train and develop team members \nProvide direction and management to your team to meet deadlines \nSupport the sourcing director to resolve any issues in production timing and deliveries to meet customer demand \nTravel to overseas vendors/factories to build and establish collaborative relationships \nSpecial projects as assigned \nRequirements\nRequired Skills/Abilities/Education:\nBachelor’s Degree in International Trade or Business, Fashion Merchandising or related field\n3+ years of experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management within the fashion industry\nProven ability to work with international business partner to drive results\nAbility to travel as needed (up to 40%)\nExcellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail\nAdvanced knowledge of AS40\nClubs experience a plus but not required\nConsistent in-office presence is vital to the role as it is for all Haddad Brands team members, so that we all have a full appreciation, aesthetically and tactilely, of the qualities that define our brand partners’ products and set them apart from their competitors.\nSalary Description\n$75,000 -
