By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost.\nFollowing our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built.\nBacked by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing-and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen.\nIf you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.\nThe Role:\nIn this role, you’ll translate the electrical needs of our production equipment into real, permitted, built facilities. You’ll shape early power and electrical requirements driven by equipment selection and operational flow, inform site selection, and lead electrical schematic design through to construction. You’ll be Hadrian’s primary point of contact with our external Architect and General Contractor partners communicating requirements, driving coordination between disciplines, reviewing and verifying drawings, and resolving electrical design issues before they reach the field.\nThis is a role for someone who makes forward progress through ambiguity, takes smart calculated risks, and treats schedule and budget as real design constraints. Ultimately, you’ll partner closely with engineering to intake requirements and turn them into a built reality on schedule and on budget.\nWhat You’ll Do\nElectrical Requirements Partnership: Intake electrical facility requirements from engineering, often driven by production equipment selection and operational flow. Lead the development of the electrical scope simultaneously, from initial concept evaluations to the completion of construction drawings for permitting and on-site execution, ensuring a smooth translation from design to real-world field conditions.\nSchedule & Problem Solving: Strategically identify critical path items relating to the electrical design, procurement, and construction phases. Manage the critical path and any blockers. Apply first-principles thinking to recover lost time and protect delivery milestones.\nDesign Collaboration: Collaborate closely with manufacturing, construction, facilities, and cross-disciplinary teams to address end-user requirements, resolve integration challenges, and coordinate electrical systems against architectural, structural, and mechanical designs so everything stays compatible with the design intent.\nDesign Feedback: Participate in design reviews for current and future phases. Translate field conditions into constructability and sequencing feedback before they become costly problems.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field\n\nProfessional licensure (PE preferred), or clear progress toward it.\n\n5+ years of experience in electrical facility or building-systems design.\n\nExperience designing for new manufacturing or production facilities, ideally in environments with engineering and production complexity comparable to Hadrian’s.\n\nWorking knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC/NFPA 70, IBC) and power distribution for industrial facilities.\n\nProficiency with Procore or an equivalent construction management platform.\n\nWillingness to travel up to 25%.\n\nWhat Will Set You Apart\nExperience in highly regulated or high-consequence industries (nuclear, energy, aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing).\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills for interfacing with diverse engineering disciplines, stakeholders, and external partners to foster collaborative problem-solving.\n\nPractical knowledge of field installation methods, means, and materials, including troubleshooting real-world constructability issues and adapting designs for on-site efficiency.\n\nExposure to design-for-construction or design-for-operations efforts.\n\nExperience working on expedited timelines or in fast-paced industries.\n\nCompensation\nFor this role, the target salary range is $106,000 - $181,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).\nThis is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.\nBenefits for Full-time Employees\nMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees 401k\n\nRelocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.\n\nFlexible vacation policy\n\nEquity\n\nITAR Requirements\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Learn more about the ITAR here.\nUse of AI in hiring\nHadrian uses AI-assisted tools in our recruiting and hiring processes to help our team work more efficiently. This may include tools that help organize and analyze recruiting data, as well as an AI-powered notetaker that can record and transcribe interviews and help coordinate feedback. These tools support our team and are not used to make hiring decisions. All candidate evaluations and hiring decisions are performed by humans. If an interview will be recorded, you will be notified in advance and may opt out at any time with no impact on your candidacy. Candidate data processed through these tools is subject to the same protections described in our Privacy Policy.\nConsideration of Criminal History\nHadrian will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of all applicable laws. We do not ask about criminal history on our application, and we do not consider criminal history before making a conditional offer of employment.\nHadrian Is An Equal Opportunity Employer\nHadrian does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, marital status, mental status, physical disability or any other legally protected status. When necessary, the Company also makes reasonable accommodations for disabled candidates and employees, including for candidates or employees who are disabled by pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions.","description_format":"text","description_chars":7306,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["401k plan","Equity","Flexible vacation policy","Life insurance"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":true,"industries":["Aerospace Manufacturing","Defense Manufacturing","Precision Engineering"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-08T02:31:01Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":5,"expected_fill_days":87,"reasons":["conf:2","velocity","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-13T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":181000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/hadrian-architectural-engineer-electrical-systems","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/hadrian-architectural-engineer-electrical-systems.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-14T01:46:40Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2580,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-15T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":5249},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=5249"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fhadrian-architectural-engineer-electrical-systems"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fhadrian-architectural-engineer-electrical-systems"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fhadrian-architectural-engineer-electrical-systems"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/hadrian-architectural-engineer-electrical-systems\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fhadrian-architectural-engineer-electrical-systems"}]}
