We're looking for an IT Engineer to assist in day-to-day IT operations at F4 and serve as the face of IT for the entire site. This is a hands-on role with real ownership: you'll manage endpoints, support facility employees and production staff, maintain local infrastructure, serve as the point person for day-2 vendors, and help visiting employees from other sites resolve issues while they're on-site.\nYou'll report to our IT Manager and work closely with a central team covering infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, and systems functions across all Hadrian sites.\nWhat You'll Do\nSite Operations\nOwn all on-site IT support for facility employees and production staff\n\nManage device lifecycle using Hadrian's asset management and MDM tools\n\nManage your ticket queue in Jira Service Management and drive issues to resolution\n\nMaintain local network and infrastructure health; escalate to central infrastructure teams as needed\n\nServe as the on-call escalation point for F4 on-site support needs; local team headcount is expected to grow as the facility scales\n\nConstruction Support\nSupport the IT buildout of the F4 facility in partnership with the Factory Deployment IT Lead and central IT teams\n\nCoordinate with facilities and construction on-site during construction to confirm electrical and low-voltage vendors are placing infrastructure correctly, and provide regular status updates\n\nReceive, stage, and deploy endpoint hardware, peripherals, and AV/conferencing equipment\n\nOnboarding, Offboarding, and Staffing\nOwn IT onboarding and offboarding for all employees at the site: hardware setup/retrieval, account provisioning/deprovisioning, access grants, and Day 1 readiness\n\nServe as the on-site point of contact for IT questions and walkthroughs for new hires\n\nHire, train, and lead a local IT team as the facility scales\n\nSecurity and Compliance\nEnforce Hadrian's security tooling and policies on-site: EDR, MDM, and IAM\n\nSupport CMMC Level 2 compliance requirements for CUI handling at the facility\n\nCoordinate with central IT and InfoSec on incidents, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reviews\n\nVendor and Asset Management\nManage local vendor relationships, hardware maintenance contracts, and ISP coordination\n\nMaintain accurate asset inventory for all on-site IT equipment\n\nManage shipping and receiving of IT and infrastructure materials (switches, WAPs, and similar equipment)\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh degree of independence and accountability - this role works without a local IT manager to lean on, and needs to be self-reliant, self-driven, and proactive rather than reactive\n\nHigh degree of ownership - drives issues to resolution without waiting to be asked\n\nStrong networking fundamentals: LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewall administration, Wi-Fi\n\nEndpoint management experience with Intune, Mosyle, or FleetDM\n\nFamiliarity with Okta for identity and access management\n\nExperience owning employee IT onboarding end to end\n\nComfortable operating as a remote extension of a distributed team\n\nManufacturing or industrial environment experience strongly preferred\n\nCMMC, ITAR, and CUI handling experience a plus\n\nBenefits for Full-time Employees\nMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees 401k\n\nRelocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.\n\nFlexible vacation policy\n\nEquity\n\nITAR Requirements\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
