As part of this mission, we are building out a world-class additive manufacturing capability - and we need a capable Program Manager who has done this before.\nWe are looking for someone who has taken complex metal AM equipment from development through industrialization, built the automation and process infrastructure around it, and driven it to production-grade reliability. This is not a coordination role - it is an ownership role.\nYou will serve as the program execution backbone for our additive manufacturing buildout, managing cross-functional delivery across engineering, operations, supply chain, software, and customer-facing programs. As Hadrian expands factory footprint across new and existing locations, you will own the infrastructure and program milestones that make it happen.\nOwn end-to-end delivery of AM programs - from requirements and process development through equipment qualification, factory integration, and production handoff. This includes LPBF system commissioning, FAT/SAT execution.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDefine and maintain program planning artifacts: WBS, integrated master schedules (IMS), risk registers, and EVM reporting.\n\nLead process qualification efforts - owning parameter development cycles, establishing production baselines, and ensuring traceability from process inputs to qualified output standards.\n\nDrive automation and subsystem integration across the AM production cell: laser and scanner systems, powder and gas handling, recoater and z-stage, thermal management, safety interlocks, and control systems connectivity.\n\nEstablish and continuously improve machine monitoring and reliability programs\n\nServe as the primary technical and programmatic interface for aerospace and defense customers and partners - leading program status briefings and reviews with clear, decision-ready communication.\n\nServe as the connective tissue across sales, supply chain, and engineering: systems, materials & process, applications, software, and quality - identifying and resolving execution risks early to maintain program health and delivery commitments.\n\nManage CapEx budget for AM facility buildouts and coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders. Advocate for strategic investments in AM equipment, facility requirements, process automation, and infrastructure.\n\nPartner with sales on program shaping, proposal development, BOE generation, and DFARS/ITAR-compliant delivery frameworks.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:\n5+ years of experience in technical program management within aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments - with a track record of delivering hardware-intensive programs on time.\n\nDirect, hands-on experience with metal additive manufacturing: process development, equipment qualification, or production industrialization.\n\nProven ability to take complex manufacturing systems from development through production-grade reliability - not just track the people doing it.\n\nStrong cross-functional coordination skills across engineering, operations, supply chain, and software in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.\n\nAbility to communicate program status, risks, and decisions crisply to both senior technical stakeholders and executive leadership.\n\nFamiliarity with NIAR qualification frameworks or experience guiding AM programs through third-party process certification and audit readiness.\n\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field.\n\nCOMPENSATION:\nFor this role, the target salary range is $135,000 - $175,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).\nThis is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
