We now have operations throughout the Asia-Pacific region, Americas and other parts of the world.\nBased at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), HAECO Hong Kong offer a full range of services including airframe services, line services, component services, engine services, freighter conversions, technical training and AOG support.\nPosition Description\nResponsible for the planning of commercial spares, and planning and acquisition of aircraft spares to support company’s operations at optimum costs.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelopment and maintenance of forecasting, provisioning, purchasing policies for aircraft spares.\nManaging material planning function for commercial spares.\nForecasting company requirements for material and spares, planning inventory, stock turn, off-shelf performance and controlling inventory expenditure within plan.\nProviding sufficient stock to reasonably satisfy production requirements and timely delivery of unavailable materials in accordance with the service levels with internal and external customers.\nWork with Procurement Department for sourcing, price control and vendor performance monitoring.\nReview and provide guidance to staff for customer requirement in parts handling with reference to contracted supply responsibility, GTI-C, customer GMM and / or any relevant documented requirement.\nProduction and periodical review of Material Management Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM Volume 15) in consultation with immediate supervisor.\nDevelopment and maintenance of computerized and manual systems and procedures.\nNomination and development of training programs for inventory operations staff.\nExecute and monitor correction action resulting from quality audit by the Quality Department and other airworthiness authorities.\nIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement.\nWork closely with customers and staff to generate new ideas and implement better ways of doing work. Create an atmosphere and motivate staff to participate in business improvement projects.\nWhat You'll Need\nDegree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or relevant disciplines.\nMinimum of 10 years relevant experience, preferably in aviation industry.\nExcellent supply chain and purchasing knowledge.\nExcellent knowledge in sourcing process for aircraft parts.\nExcellent negotiation skills.\nExcellent leadership and coaching skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.\nGood PC skills in Microsoft Office.\nAble to work independently and make logical judgment under pressure.\nHAECO Group is an equal opportunity employer.
