HAECO Component Overhaul is an independent MRO offering offering a wide range of repair and overhaul solutions for aircraft components from purpose-built facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen, our workshops also facilitate the closed-loop repair of components.
Position Description
Be responsible to expand the capability of maintenance and overhaul. Provide solutions to technical problems raised by customers and maintenance staff. Be responsible to perform technical assessment of aircraft and components maintenance manuals. Provide equipment and toolings selection, design, manufacture, improvement, and operation procedures.
What You'll Do
- Expand the capability of maintenance / overhaul and associated shops, to meet customer and commercial requirements
- Responsible for Component capability development projects
- Provide equipment selection, design, manufacture, improvement and operation procedures for Overhaul Division
- Specify, evaluate and design new tooling and equipment required by Maintenance / Overhaul Division
- Provide general technical support to the Maintenance / Overhaul Division
- Review the latest HK / European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) / Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) airworthiness regulations and to advise Production departments on matters contained in such information which may have an impact on current or future work
What You'll Need
1. Technical and other Relevant Experience
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in aircraft / component engineering
- Practical engineering and repair experience in aircraft component
- Extensive experience and solid knowledge in component repair; master the skills to perform troubleshooting
- Rich experience in tooling and equipment design, manufacture and maintenance
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge
- A recognized degree in Aeronautical, Engineering or related disciplines
- Strong knowledge and competency in aircraft component engineering
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
