Description\n\nWe are looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and help us ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.\n\nMain responsibilities\n\n• Hands-on administration of Windows and Linux servers, including user and group management, patching, routine maintenance, and first-level troubleshooting.\n\n• Support and maintenance of mail services, including mailbox administration, distribution groups, basic configuration, and operational support.\n\n• Strong focus on networking fundamentals, including DNS, IP addressing, routing, switching, firewalls, and day-to-day connectivity troubleshooting.\n\n• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and support of infrastructure, systems, and services in both office and datacenter environments.\n\n• Basic scripting and automation for operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Javascript, or similar tools.\n\n• Support of web and application services such as IIS, Apache, Haproxy and Nginx, including basic configuration and maintenance.\n\n• Participation in datacenter activities such as rack and stack, cabling, hardware replacement, and maintaining accurate documentation and asset records.\n\n• Participation in shift-based operational coverage. 16/5 currently, may expand in the future to 24/5(Monday-Friday)\n\nRequired skills and experience\n\n• Good practical knowledge of networking and troubleshooting, with confidence in working with DNS, IP addressing, subnet and related connectivity issues.\n\n• Experience administering Windows and Linux systems in an operational environment.\n\n• Basic understanding of virtualization and high availability concepts such as Hyper-V, VMware, clustering, and failover.\n\n• Basic knowledge of scripting or automation with PowerShell, Bash, Shell, or similar tools.\n\n• Good troubleshooting mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to follow operational procedures.\n\n• Working proficiency in English.\n\nNice to have\n\nThe following are considered an advantage during the interview process, but are not mandatory:\n\n• Exposure to Microsoft Exchange and/or Microsoft 365 administration.\n\n• Experience with load balancing concepts such as L4/L7, VIPs, health checks, reverse proxies, and basic TLS/certificate handling.\n\n• Familiarity with monitoring and logging platforms such as Zabbix, Graylog, Datadog, or similar systems.\n\n• Exposure to container and automation technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and Git-based workflows.\n\n• Basic experience with databases and data platforms, including backup/restore workflows and exposure to systems such as MongoDB Atlas.\n\n• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure DevOps, Azure Function Apps, Application Gateways, Azure Data Factory, and other cloud infrastructure components.\n\n• Understanding of hardware and datacenter fundamentals, including RAID, remote management, firmware lifecycle, and hardware replacement procedures.\n\n• Networking knowledge beyond the basics, such as VLANs, LACP, switch configuration/CLI, and general Layer 2/Layer 3
