This will involve the tasks outlined in the Main Duties and Responsibilities below, while playing a supporting role to other functions within the company.\nThe Manufacturing Operator will work as part of the Manufacturing Team in the manufacture of innovative medical devices in accordance with the requirements of International Standards: ISO 13485, the FDA Code of Federal Regulations 21 CFR Part 820, Medical Device Directives 93/42/EEC and 2007/47/EC and the Vivasure Medical Quality Management System.\nMain Duties and Responsibilities\nBuild sub- assemblies and finished devices including packaging activities for testing, clinical investigations and commercial release.\nComplete part and subassembly visual and dimensional inspection activities in line with documented procedures and standards.\nResponsible for issuing materials to the manufacturing line, setting up equipment & fixtures on the manufacturing line.\nAssist with management of the Material Control System including incoming inspections, part issuance and tracking.\nParticipate in training activities and become proficient in the required manufacturing and inspection activities in a timely manner.\nAssist in the preparation and execution of \"in process\" device testing and recording of associated results.\nIdentify and communicate opportunities for improvement in product quality and throughput and participate in the successful implementation of same.\nWhere required provide training and guidance to team members on building, inspection and testing of product.\nMaintain compliance with released Work instructions and Procedures.\nComplete written and soft copy quality records in line with GDP requirements.\nBe dependable in coming to work, adhering to work and break schedules and meeting required quality and productivity standards.\nQualification Required\nLeaving Certificate or equivalent minimum.\nThird level academic qualification will be advantageous.\nWork Experience or Training Required\nMinimum of 4 years’ medical device manufacturing experience (at least 2 year cleanroom based) or equivalent.\nDemonstrated experience of GDP & GMP standards is advantageous.\nSpecial Skills Required\nMust have good communication skills.\nMust be able to work well in a team environment.\nAbility to perform a variety of tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.\nDemonstrate high level of initiative.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nEffective contributor with light level of supervision.\nProficient in use of desktop software e.g. excel, word - computer literacy will be advantageous\nPay Transparency\nThe base salary actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for a sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms.
