Key responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, performing equipment setups and maintenance, supporting process improvements, and ensuring accurate documentation in line with GMP and quality standards.\nThe Manufacturing Technician will work as part of a team to assist in the manufacture of innovative medical devices in accordance with the requirements of International Standards:ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, EU Medical Device\nRegulation (MDR) and the Vivasure Medical Quality Management System.\n Main Duties and Responsibilities\nProvide day-to-day technical support to the manufacturing line to ensure consistent and efficient operations.\n\nRespond promptly and effectively to manufacturing line stoppages or anomalies to minimise production downtime.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment, tooling, process, or material.\n\nPerform manufacturing line set-ups and operate equipment, ensuring proper use and functionality.\n\nCarry out routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment.\n\nIdentify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, tools, jigs, and methods that enhance product quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.\n\nSupport the elimination of waste and inefficiencies using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.\n\nParticipate in process development activities for new and existing products.\n\nAssist with equipment, process and product verification and validation testing.\n\nMaintain accurate and complete batch records, logs, check sheets, and maintenance records in compliance with GMP and quality system requirements.\n\nConduct or support in-process inspection, functional testing, and non-conformance investigations.\n\nMaintain technical documentation in accordance with Quality Management System requirements.\n\nProvide input for risk assessments, FMEAs (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams during line validations, engineering builds or product transfers\n\nSupport product builder training on processes & work instructions.\n\nWork as part of the core manufacturing team to support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.\n\nMaintain equipment, work areas and facilities to ensure a clean and safe work environment and compliance to good manufacturing practice.\n\nQualification Required\nThird level qualification in a relevant technical field is\n\nadvantageous.\n\nKnowledge of quality standards including ISO 13485, MDR, and FDA Requirements.\n\nWork Experience or Training Required\n2-5 years hands-on experience in Medical device / pharma industry\n\nOperating and maintaining production equipment\n\nSupporting process improvements\n\nWorking knowledge of QMS and regulatory requirements in the medical device industry.\n\n Special Skills Required\nExcellent communication and organisational skills\n\nWorks effectively in a team environment\n\nTakes ownership of responsibilities and can work autonomously as required\n\nGood documentation practices (GDP) and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.\n\nKnowledge of cleanroom manufacturing processes and methodologies\n\nAbility to read technical drawings, process diagrams, and equipment manuals.\n\nPay Transparency\nThe base salary actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for a sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.
