This role manages infrastructure operations across cloud and on-premises environments, including compute, storage, customer-facing hosting platforms, data centers, backup and recovery, and end-user technology services. The Senior Manager partners with business and technology leaders to translate organizational needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions while developing a high-performing technical team and ensuring operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities:\nInfrastructure strategy: Develop and execute a multi-year infrastructure roadmap aligned with business priorities, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity requirements, and financial objectives.\nService ownership: Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and supportability of cloud, network, server, storage, identity, collaboration, backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint services.\nOperational excellence: Establish service-level objectives, operational metrics, monitoring, incident response, problem management, change management, capacity planning, patching, lifecycle management, and continuous-improvement practices.\nCybersecurity and compliance: Partner with information security, risk, privacy, and compliance teams to implement required controls, remediate vulnerabilities, support audits, and maintain secure configurations.\nCloud and modernization: Lead cloud adoption, automation, standardization, technical-debt reduction, and modernization initiatives while optimizing performance, resilience, and cost.\nBusiness continuity: Maintain tested backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities; define recovery objectives and coordinate exercises and remediation activities.\nPeople leadership: Hire, coach, develop, and retain infrastructure professionals; establish clear objectives, accountability, succession plans, and development opportunities.\nFinancial and vendor management: Own budgets, forecasts, licensing, asset lifecycle plans, contracts, sourcing activities, and supplier performance; identify opportunities to improve value and reduce total cost of ownership.\nStakeholder partnership: Communicate service health, risks, priorities, and investment needs to technical and nontechnical leaders; collaborate across applications, security, data, facilities, and business functions.\nGovernance and documentation: Maintain standards, procedures, architecture documentation, support models, inventories, and decision records that enable reliable and repeatable service delivery.\nEscalation leadership: Provide executive-level coordination during critical incidents, ensure timely communications, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nRelevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, AWS, Veeam, Linux, PDQ or VMware.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or comparable cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure.\nExperience supporting regulated & controlled environments (life sciences, healthcare).\n10 + years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments., operations, engineering, or service delivery,\n5+ years in a people-management role. Talent development and team leadership\nStrong knowledge of networking, compute, storage, virtualization, identity and access management, enterprise collaboration, backup and recovery, monitoring, endpoint management, and infrastructure automation.\nExperience leading IT service management and infrastructure operations and complex infrastructure transformations.\nProven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, contracts & external providers.\nStrategic thinking and disciplined execution\nCustomer and business orientation\nSound judgment, ownership, and accountability\nClear communication and stakeholder influence\nRisk awareness and continuous improvement\nCollaboration across technical and business teams\nAdditional Requirements: \nMay require participation in an on-call escalation rotation and availability outside normal business hours for critical incidents or planned maintenance.\nPeriodic travel may be required to company sites, data centers, or supplier locations.\nWorks in a hybrid office and remote environment, subject to organizational policy and business needs.\nPay Transparency:\nThe pay range for this role is:\n$124,300.00-$211,700.00/Annual\nThe base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles.\nIncentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms.
