This position also runs inventories by item to follow FIFO. This position requires P.I.T training (Powered Industrial Trucks).\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAssure that raw materials are properly labeled (each unit)\n\nMust verify that raw materials are approved\n\nRun inventory for each item\n\nPut raw material away in locations accordingly\n\nPull shipping pick list\n\nFollow FIFO and GMPs\n\nEnforce GMPs with truck drivers and other vendors\n\nPerform Inbound truck and product inspections\n\nAssure lot traceability\n\nEnsure order accuracy\n\nKnowledge, Skillsand Abilities: \nKnowledge and experience in Food Industry is a plus but not necessary\n\nAbility to read and write\n\nAbility to use a calculator to perform basic math\n\nAbility to use a laptop computer\n\nAbility to use a forklift unit / hand jack\n\nAbility to learn while training with an experienced Forklift Operator\n\nAbility to follow safety rules and requirements when working in dangerous areas or with power equipment\n\nAbility to work as a team member while under supervision of an experienced Forklift Operator\n\nAbility to perform other related duties as needed while under close supervision\n\nAbility to follow and implement GMPs and other Food Safety and Quality requirements\n\nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbssafely\n\nMust be able to go up and down stairs if required\n\nQuality / Warehouse Training Needed:\nHigh School or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience preferred\n\nMust complete all courses in necessary training schedule within 90 daysof assuming position; during that time employeemay perform duties under supervision of trained operator.\n\nMust complete necessary GMP training\n\nWe are open to talents of all backgrounds.
