With sustainability at the heart of our business model, we aim to produce food that is good in every sense of the word: delicious, nourishing, affordable, sustainable and convenient.\nSolina is a fast-growing business, with around 50 production sites and R&D laboratories present in more than 19 countries mainly in Europe and North America.\nBy constantly rethinking culinary solutions, we make food matter for people and the planet.\nIf you're ready for a new adventure in a dynamic, expanding, passionate, international company, join us !\nWho are we looking for?\nSupportsthe needsofthe QualityAssurance department whileinterfacing withproduction and receiving/shipping departments to ensure that products are safe,wholesomeand meet quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nCollect and file production paperwork for QA department auditing purposes\n\nSample finished products to assure compliance with customer specifications\n\nSample inbound raw materials in a statistically significant manner.\n\nConduct metal detector verification checks on production lines\n\nCalibration of thermometers\n\nRecord temperatures of outbound loads\n\nGather composite samples when necessary\n\nPrepare samples for shipments to customers\n\nManage sample submission to outside labs\n\nCross train with lab personnel to perform lab testing duties whenrequired\n\nPerformsself qualityaudits within the plant\n\nSupports IMS/Scan4Ship labeling/hold/lot/BOL standards and processes\n\nOther projects as needed by area supervisor and/or manager.\n\nCandidate Profile\nHigh School diploma or GEDrequired.\n\n1+ years of quality and/or lab experience in the food industry is preferred.\n\nMust have the ability to complete required applicable forms in English, which requires the ability to read and write in English.\n\nPay Range: $23.00 - $24.72 per hour\nWe are open to talents of all backgrounds.
