The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 year's experience of Engineering/Maintenance working within a food manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsure minimal downtime of production facility through effective and timely maintenance and repair of plant and machinery (both Electrical & Mechanical)\nLimitation of plant / equipment failure through effective planned preventative maintenance tasks as directed.\nSupport on-going production output by engaging in the rotating Standby & Call-out Rota.\nEngage in upskilling operators to enhance best practice on use of plant and equipment.\nCandidate Profile\nMust be able to work in both Mechanical & Electrical disciplines (Preferred Bias 70% / 30% or 30% / 70%)\n\nMust have worked within a multi-skilled multi-disciplined team in a fast-moving manufacturing environment\n\nMust be able to work independently or assisted on all aspects of maintenance work\n\nMechanical Engineering qualification to C&G /NVQ Level 2 equivalent or higher / or achieved full Apprenticeship (Certificates to be made available)\n\nDemonstrable mechanical fitting abilities /experience\n\nAbility to read and interpret Mechanical / assembly drawings.\n\nGood pneumatic skills\n\nGood level of English both written and spoken\n\nAbility to work at heights& confined spaces\n\nMust be able to reliably commute to place of work and /or other sites if required to do so within the role\n\nBenefits\nCompetitive Benefit Package\nLinkedIn\nAll job offers are automatically posted on LinkedIn.
