Working with business and technical teams, you will write and maintain production code for agents and workflow automation, taking solutions from design through deployment and ongoing improvement.\nKey responsibilities\nDesign, build and maintain custom AI applications and services from prototype to production\nWork with business, data and IT teams to define technical designs and measurable success criteria\nWrite maintainable code using version control, code reviews, automated tests and repeatable deployments\nBuild integrations with internal systems, APIs and data, with appropriate security, data protection, guardrails, fallbacks and human oversight\nTest and evaluate AI output for accuracy, reliability and failure modes, alongside normal software quality checks\nMonitor, troubleshoot and improve deployed solutions for quality, performance and cost\nBuild reusable components and document patterns so the team can deliver faster\nYour profile\nStrong programming skills and experience building, deploying and maintaining production software\nHands-on experience building and evaluating AI applications, including model APIs, system integration and safeguards\nUnderstanding of prompting, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agent workflows, and when to use them\nPractical problem-solving skills, sound technical judgment and ability to adapt\nOwnership of your work and collaboration with technical and non-technical colleagues\nFluent in English\nUseful additional experience\nExperience with AI application frameworks, orchestration tools or model deployment platforms\nCloud deployment and application monitoring\nAbout the atNorth Culture\nAt atNorth, we believe sustainable success starts with our people.
