If so, we’d like you to join our team as a Warehouse Teammate/Delivery Driver. \nAbout the Driver Role: \n You will: \nOperate trucks safely and in compliance with Company rules, applicable laws, and regulations. Destinations include job sites, customer facilities, vendor facilities, other Hajoca locations, facilities of other wholesalers, or other locations as directed by management.\nLoad the truck at the Profit Center with Hajoca merchandise to be delivered. Secure the load properly so that nothing will shift, get damaged, or fall from the truck. Ensure that the necessary equipment to safely unload the merchandise is available. \nUnderstand the shipping documents that are associated with the merchandise for each delivery and have accurate directions to each delivery destination.\nReview shipping documentation and ensure order accuracy.\nUnload correct merchandise from the truck and place it where the receiving party wants it. Obtain legible signature for all merchandise delivered per Company policy and procedure.\nCollect and secure outstanding payments for all cash sale deliveries prior to releasing the material to the customer.\nWork with customers at the delivery site to resolve shipping discrepancies quickly and accurately.\nLoad the truck at other locations with merchandise. This includes merchandise picked up at vendor locations, returned by customers, and purchased from other wholesalers.\nProvide sales leads by noting prospective customer names and addresses discovered in the course of making deliveries.\nInspect the truck and required parts and accessories to determine safe operating condition prior to departure from the Hajoca location. Keep truck clean of debris in cab and body.\nAdvise management of any mechanical problems with the truck. At the end of the workday, complete the Driver’s Daily Vehicle Inspection Report when driving a delivery vehicle with a gross vehicle weight (GVWR) of 10,001 lbs. or more if a defect or deficiency is found. \nAt the end of the workday, remove keys from the truck and store keys in the approved location.\nSuccessfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.\nPerform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.\nAbout the Warehouse Role: \n You will: \nBe responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material. \nStock and maintain the warehouse; and pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure. \nAct with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. \nHandle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle. \nIdentify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations. \nComplete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier. \nLoad and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely. \nInform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels. \nEnsure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets. \nMaintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris. Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues. \nAssist co-workers in servicing customers. \nPerform all job functions in accordance with the company’s Safety Standards.\nSuccessfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.\nPerform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.\n\nAbout You: \n1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience \nKnowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred \nBe able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
