Your mission
Are you passionate about people development and looking for more than administering existing programs? Then this role offers a scope to shape things that rarely comes along. From mechanics on the production floor to sales engineers to plant leadership, our workforce is as technically diverse as our machines. For this entire spectrum, you will build a learning and development framework from the ground up, with full ownership of concept, budget, and implementation.
To strengthen our HR department at our headquarters in Bad Oldesloe, we are looking for a full-time, permanent
Learning & Development Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Introduce development and feedback conversations, from the works council agreement through to rollout within the teams.
- Assess training needs across all functions and levels of the organization and develop a structured learning framework covering mandatory training, technical qualifications, and leadership programs.
- Design and deliver internal training formats, such as onboarding and role-based soft skills development.
- Develop the concept for a learning management system and support its implementation.
- Select, contract, and quality-assure external training providers and academies.
- Establish L&D metrics and reporting, and manage the training budget in coordination with the Head of HR.
Your profile
- A degree with a focus on people development, for example business psychology or business administration with a specialization in HR management, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in learning & development or people development, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Solid knowledge of modern learning methods and formats, along with hands-on experience with LMS platforms. Experience working with a works council is a plus.
- German at C1 level and English at B2 level, both written and spoken.
- You combine an analytical approach with genuine execution strength, and you want to shape a topic that has yet to take a fixed form.
- You quickly build solid relationships with your stakeholders, find the right tone for every audience, and advance your topics diplomatically, even when facing pushback.
