We invite you to apply to a job you’re interested in and we'll work a plan to meet your needs.\nField Chief Information Security Officer (Field CISO) \nRole Overview \nThe Field CISO is a customer-facing executive who serves as a trusted security advisor to prospects, customers, and partners. This role bridges security leadership and go-to-market strategy, helping accelerate revenue and strengthen market credibility by translating complex security challenges into clear business outcomes. \nUnlike an internal CISO, this position does not manage internal security operations. Instead, it focuses on enabling sales success and building trust with executive stakeholders. \nKey Responsibilities \nGo-To-Market & Revenue Enablement \nPartner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to drive pipeline growth, accelerate deals, support closures, make strategic introductions, and deliver positive outcomes.\nServe as the executive security voice in late-stage sales cycles, board-level discussions, and strategic customer engagements.\nLead security-focused meetings, including architecture reviews, risk assessments, and executive briefings.\nNavigate complex buyer dynamics involving CISOs, CIOs, risk, legal, and compliance stakeholders.\nProvide actionable insights to influence GTM strategy, pricing, and positioning. \nMarket & Thought Leadership \nRepresent the company as a security leader at conferences, webinars, and executive roundtables.\nContribute to thought leadership through blogs, whitepapers, and industry commentary.\nBuild credibility in new markets and verticals through public engagement and strategic relationships. \nCustomer Advocacy & Trust \nDevelop long-term relationships with CISOs and security executives.\nAct as a trusted advisor during critical discussions, audits, or regulatory reviews.\nHelp customers articulate security value to their boards and leadership teams. \nSuccess Metrics \nImpact on pipeline growth, deal velocity, and win rates.\nExecutive engagement and customer satisfaction.\nAdoption of security messaging in GTM activities.\nMarket visibility and thought leadership reach. \nQualifications \n10+ years in cybersecurity or technology leadership, with prior CISO or equivalent experience.\nStrong understanding of enterprise security domains (cloud, identity, risk, compliance).\nProven ability to communicate complex security topics to executive audiences.\nExperience in high-trust, customer-facing roles within fast-paced environments. \nPreferred: \nBackground in B2B SaaS or security vendors.\nExperience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, and government).\nEstablished network of security executives. \nHalcyon offers the following benefits to eligible employees: \nComprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents. \nShort and long-term disability coverage, basic life and AD&D insurance plans. \nMedical and dependent care FSA options. \n401k plan with a generous employer contribution. \nFlexible PTO policy. \nParental leave. \nGenerous equity offerings. \nThe Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice. \nThe expected base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250.000 Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but are not limited to) role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, and experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offers, and equity awards. \nIn accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.
