Working under the guidance of Senior Data Stewards and Data Owners, this role focuses on day-to-day data validation, issue identification, and remediation support, helping ensure data is accurate, complete, and fit for use.\nThe role provides an excellent opportunity to build strong business and data foundations, develop knowledge of end-to-end data flows, and gain exposure to enterprise data management practices within a complex, multinational environment. The Data Steward acts as an operational bridge between business users and data governance teams, contributing to reliable reporting, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.\nKey responsibilities:\nData Quality & Stewardship Support\nPerform routine data quality checks on assigned data domains to validate accuracy, completeness, and consistency. \nSupport the review, validation, and correction of master data attributes, hierarchies, and mappings, primarily across Corporate Function data such as Finance, Tax, Procurement, HR. \nRaise data quality issues clearly and promptly, logging defects and supporting remediation activities under supervision. \nAssist with monitoring data quality metrics and dashboards, escalating recurring or critical issues where appropriate. \nCollaboration & Business Engagement\nWork closely with Senior Data Stewards, Data Owners, Business Process Owners, and Product Owners to understand data requirements and business rules. \nSupport data-related queries from markets and operating units, ensuring responses are timely and traceable. \nParticipate in data forums, working groups, or governance sessions, contributing insights and learning from experienced stakeholders. \nData Standards & Documentation\nAssist in documenting data definitions, standards, business rules, and procedures as defined by Data Owners and governance teams. \nHelp maintain data guidelines and playbooks to enable consistent and accurate data maintenance by business users. \nSupport change adoption by ensuring data requirements are understood during new capability rollouts or enhancements. \nTools, Systems & Learning\nUse enterprise data management tools (e.g., Informatica IDMC) to perform data reviews and basic analysis. \nDevelop knowledge of end-to-end data flows supporting capabilities such as Finance accounting, planning, procurement and HR People data. \nQualifications & Skills:\nWe are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:\nRequired Skills\nStrong attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach to data. \nBasic analytical skills, with the ability to investigate issues and support root-cause analysis. \nGood communication skills, with the ability to explain data issues clearly to both technical and business users. \nWillingness and curiosity to learn business processes, data domains, and enterprise systems. \nAbility to work effectively as part of a cross-functional and often remote team. \nTechnical Skills\nGood working knowledge of Informatica IDMC for Data Quality & Governance \nGood working knowledge of Excel for data analysis (e.g. lookups, pivot tables). \nExposure to, or strong interest in, data tools and platforms such as SAP, data quality tools, or BI/reporting solutions. \nAwareness of SQL and Power BI is advantageous but not essential. \nExperience Required:\nUndergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Data, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). \nSome experience in a data-focused, analytics, operations, or business support role is preferred. \nExposure to master data, reporting, or operational systems is an advantage. \nInterest in the CPG/FMCG industry and the functions of Finance, Procurement, HR \nJob Posting End Date\n2026-11-06Equal Opportunities\nHaleon are committed to mobilising our purpose in a way that represents the diverse consumers and communities who rely on our brands every day.
