Reporting to the Director, CMO Procurement Tail, N-Tier & Market Insights, this role focuses on delivering value, ensuring supply continuity, driving supplier performance, and supporting supplier lifecycle management across an assigned portfolio of external manufacturing partners.\nWorking closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Legal, the role will drive sourcing strategies, lead commercial negotiations, manage supplier performance, and identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve resilience, and mitigate risk within the supply network.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage an assigned portfolio of CDMOs and related spend categories, ensuring strong commercial performance and value delivery.\nDevelop and execute sourcing and supplier strategies aligned with Haleon's global CMO Tail strategy.\nLead commercial negotiations, RFx activities, supplier reviews, and contract management processes.\nDrive cost savings and value creation through strategic sourcing, should-cost analysis, value engineering, process improvements, and supplier optimization initiatives.\nBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships focused on cost, quality, service, innovation, resilience, and supply continuity.\nMonitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans to address gaps and support business objectives.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate commercial, operational, quality, regulatory, and continuity risks within the supplier portfolio.\nPartner with Direct Procurement teams to align value-delivery initiatives across raw materials and packaging categories.\nCollaborate closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Legal, and other key stakeholders to resolve supplier challenges and drive business value.\nEnsure compliance with procurement policies, contract lifecycle management processes, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.\nSupport supplier lifecycle management and supplier-base optimization activities to enhance network effectiveness and competitiveness.\nRequirements:\nDegree in Procurement, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing, or a related function.\nExperience managing supplier relationships and supplier performance within complex supply chains.\nExperience working within cross-functional and matrix organizations.\nExperience with risk management and supplier governance.\nDirect Procurement experience across raw materials and packaging categories is an advantage.\nKnowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, quotation analysis, contract negotiation, and supplier development.\nUnderstanding of commercial contracting processes and contract lifecycle management.\nKnowledge of cost analysis, cost benchmarking, and supplier financial assessments.\nAnalytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.\nStakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.\nCollaboration and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.\nContinuous improvement mindset with the ability to balance cost, quality, service, innovation, and risk in supplier decisions.\nWhy Haleon?\nCareer at one of the leading global healthcare companies. \nHybrid work. \nAttractive reward package (annual bonus & awards for outstanding performance, recognition awards for additional achievements and engagement). \nExtensive support of work life balance (flexible working solutions including working from home possibilities, health & wellbeing activities). \nPrivate medical care - the cost of the basic package is financed by Haleon.
