This position works 12hr shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am.\nThis role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:\nOperate our state-of-the-art fully automated toothpaste packaging lines operating at speeds up to 450 tubes per minute \nHandle packaging materials (cases of tubes and cartons, bundles of shippers, rolls of labels and wrap, slip sheets, caps, corners, pallets, etc.) and finished goods \nMaintain cleanliness of the area and the equipment \nPerform autonomous maintenance activities to keep the lines producing at top performance \nAssist maintenance technician on preventive maintenance activities \nConduct inventories of packaging materials and products \nPerform all activities while focusing on safety and compliance \nPerforming transactions in our enterprise resource system (SAP) to manage materials from receipt to final product \nPerform frequent quality checks and accurately document the results \nDocument batch activity on computerized system \nIdentify and action process improvement \nUnderstand and comply with all pertinent procedures, work instructions, forms, batch documentation and good manufacturing practices \nSearch for cost savings and waste reduction opportunities \nWhy you?\nBasic Qualifications:\nWe are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:\nHigh school diploma or GED \nAbility to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend off \nBasic computer skills (Data entry, email, file access, Microsoft Word and Excel) \nPreferred Qualifications:\nIf you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:\nManufacturing or Production environment experience \nExperience as a packaging operator\nExperience with equipment/machinery maintenance and changeovers \nAble to effectively communicate and work with co-workers, management, and other departments \nMastery of one packaging line measured by OJT certification (Line Clearance, Changeover, and Quality)\nAbility to routinely lift up to 55 pounds, stand, bend and walk for extended periods of time \nAbility to work overtime to fulfill business need \nAbility to operate industrial power lifts (pallet jacks and forklifts) \nConfident in the use of basic math calculations, percentages, fractions, and decimal notation \nFamiliar with different measurement schemes (e.g., Kilograms vs pounds) \nTo reach max range need to be certified in all packaging technologies (TFS-80, TFS-30, FPS-4)\nThe starting Rate for this position is $24.50hr + 5% Performance Bonus and a 10% Shift Differential.\nBenefits\nHaleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program.
