It unites us, inspires us, and challenges us to be better every day, driven by our agile, performance-focused culture.\nProduct and Process Engineer\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for a Product and Process Engineer to join our Technical team at Haleon Dungarvan.\nIn this role, you will provide technical and validation support across manufacturing processes, helping to resolve process issues, introduce new products and materials, and ensure products remain in a validated state of control.\nYou will work closely with Quality, Engineering, Operations, R&D and regional and global Technical teams. This is a hands-on technical role offering involvement in process improvement, product transfers, validation, cleaning validation and New Product Introduction activities.\nKey responsibilities\nAct as a key technical point of contact for assigned products and manufacturing processes, maintaining knowledge of product performance, critical quality attributes and critical process parameters.\nProvide technical support to investigate and resolve manufacturing and process-related issues.\nSupport process optimisation activities to improve Right First Time performance and reduce waste.\nLead or support the qualification and introduction of new products, raw materials, suppliers, technologies and manufacturing processes.\nSupport New Product Introduction and product transfer activities, ensuring processes are robust, capable and compliant with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.\nDevelop and maintain Continued Process Verification activities, using data trending and statistical analysis to identify emerging process risks.\nMaintain and periodically review Product Control Strategies and Technical Risk Assessments.\nSupport the preparation and execution of process validation protocols and reports for manufacturing and packaging processes.\nLead or contribute to change controls, technical investigations, major deviations and process improvement initiatives.\nConduct risk assessments for cleaning processes and support cleaning validation activities for new products, equipment, processes and materials.\nWork collaboratively with Quality, Engineering, Operations, R&D and Technical teams to ensure products and processes remain in a validated state of control.\nPresent technical and project updates to relevant site stakeholders.\nAbout you\nEssential\nBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science or a related scientific or technical discipline.\nApproximately 3-5 years’ experience in a technical, process, manufacturing or validation role within a regulated environment.\nPractical knowledge of process qualification and validation requirements.\nExperience supporting new product introduction, new raw material introduction or process optimisation activities.\nExperience working with change controls, deviations, technical investigations or risk assessments.\nStrong problem-solving, data analysis and technical documentation skills.\nAbility to work effectively across multiple functions and communicate technical information clearly to different stakeholders.\nDesirable\nPostgraduate qualification in an Engineering or Science discipline.\nExperience in pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of some or all of the following: Continued Process Verification Product Control Strategies Technical Risk Assessments and FMEA Cleaning validation HBEL and MACO assessments New Product Introduction Quality Management Systems\nExperience using process data and statistical analysis to monitor performance and identify trends.\nJob Posting End Date\n2026-11-10Equal Opportunities\nHaleon are committed to mobilising our purpose in a way that represents the diverse consumers and communities who rely on our brands every day.
