It unites us, inspires us, and challenges us to be better every day, driven by our agile, performance-focused culture.\nAbout the Role\nThe Product Expert - Compensation will be responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing Compensation systems, primarily Workday, along with related platforms. This role partners closely with product teams and stakeholders, including the Rewards CoE, to ensure compensation solutions are aligned with business requirements, HR processes, and enterprise architecture principles.\nThe role demands strong functional and technical expertise in Workday Compensation modules to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-impact solutions. The incumbent will also oversee system governance, manage releases, and drive continuous improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.\nRole Responsibilities\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize Compensation systems (Workday and related tools).\n\nProvide technical expertise and functional guidance to stakeholders, including Rewards CoE, ensuring solutions meet business needs and align with HR processes.\n\nOwn and maintain technical documentation such as system requirements, configurations, and design artifacts.\n\nEnsure compliance with internal security, risk management frameworks, and external statutory and regulatory requirements.\n\nManage system changes and releases, including Workday bi-annual updates, ensuring minimal disruption and high system reliability.\n\nWork with service teams to plan, test, and deploy system enhancements and fixes.\n\nTroubleshoot system issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions or workarounds.\n\nSupport global implementations, ensuring effective localization and compliance with regional requirements.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compensation processes and system performance.\n\nCollaborate with third-party vendors and partners for successful delivery of system enhancements and integrations.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nCurrent or prior certification in Workday (Advanced Compensation, Core Compensation, Benefits Management).\n\n8+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Advanced Compensation, Core Compensation, and Benefits Management modules.\n\nProven experience delivering products using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies (e.g., Scrum Product Owner, PMP, PRINCE2).\n\nExperience managing change and release activities, including Workday bi-annual releases.\n\nStrong understanding of end-to-end compensation processes and their integration within HR systems.\n\nExperience working with third-party vendors in delivering technology solutions.\n\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot system issues and implement effective technical solutions.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExposure to additional Workday modules such as Benefits, Recruitment, BIRT, or Workday Docs.\n\nExperience with global implementations and localization strategies.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\n\nAbility to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\n\nPrior experience in Product Management within HR technology or Compensation systems.\n\nFamiliarity with broader HR systems and cross-functional processes.\n\nLocation: This role is based in Bangalore, India\nPlease save a copy of the job description, as this may be helpful to refer to once the advert closes.\nJob Posting End Date\n2026-10-30Equal Opportunities\nHaleon are committed to mobilising our purpose in a way that represents the diverse consumers and communities who rely on our brands every day.
