In this role, you will lead the development and execution of category growth strategies that create value for our shoppers, customers and our business.\nYou will leverage shopper, consumer, and market insights to identify growth opportunities, shape category vision and strategy, and drive collaborative partnerships with key mass market retailers in the oral health care category. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with Sales and Marketing to deliver sustainable category growth. You will proactively deliver compelling insights and category arguments that give confidence to our stakeholders that Haleon is the category expert.\nThis role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following...\ndevelop and implement category strategies based on consumer, shopper, customer, and market insights.\nCustomizing the local category vision & strategy and providing support for the customers in developing a long-term plan for the categories\nLead category reviews and recommend actionable growth opportunities to retail partners.\nInfluence internal and external stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and strong storytelling.\nIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities within the category landscape.\nProviding best in class assortment and shelf management services to identify potentials at customer level\nPartner closely with Key Account Managers to support joint business planning and customer engagement.\nCollaborate with Marketing to ensure category strategies align with brand and portfolio priorities.\nMonitor category performance and evaluate the effectiveness of category initiatives.\nWhy you?\nBasic Qualifications:\nWe are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:\nUniversity degree in business administration, economics, marketing or related.\nSignificant experience in Category Management, Category Development, Shopper Insights, or related commercial functions within FMCG or consumer health.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market, consumer, shopper, and retailer data.\nExperience using syndicated data sources such as NielsenIQ, Circana/IRI, Kantar, or similar.\nProven ability to influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.\nExcellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills in German (C1) and English\nPreferred Qualifications:\nIf you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:\nHighly passionate, innovative and results driven personality.\nTrue understanding of shopper thinking - experienced in transforming shopper insights into compelling category stories and channel plans\nExperience leading cross-functional projects.\nKnowledge of revenue growth management principles.\nPrevious people leadership or coaching experienc\nChannel know-how of Mass Market (Drug, Grocery, Discount and dCom)\nGS1 Certified\nJob Posting End Date\n2026-11-25Equal Opportunities\nHaleon are committed to mobilising our purpose in a way that represents the diverse consumers and communities who rely on our brands every day.
