It unites us, inspires us, and challenges us to be better every day, driven by our agile, performance-focused culture.\nAbout the role\nThe Utilities Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment in a compliant state, troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and documenting work on core facilities equipment or systems that support the manufacture and packaging of pharmaceutical products.\nRole Responsibilities\nMaintain equipment in compliant state by ensuring that documentation and audit trail is kept intact and required maintenance is performed. Responsible for equipment rounds and documentation of critical operating parameters.\n\nExecute preventative maintenance (PM) instructions based on maintenance schedules.\n\nDisassemble equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear. Repair and replace broken and malfunctioning components.\n\nReassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. Operate newly repaired and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs. Document the work, parts and materials used to comply with SOPs and Quality requirements.\n\nStudy blueprints and manufacturers’ manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.\n\nParticipate in the planning, installation, and improvement of equipment. Responsible for writing and performing of technical procedures, change controls, and keeping drawings and schematics up to date. Support and meet departmental, plant, and corporate EHS goals. Work in a safe and efficient manner.\n\nWhy you?\nBasic Qualifications:\nA minimum of a HS Diploma or GED equivalent is required.\n\nA minimum of 6 months of Facilities/Utilities equipment maintenance experience (or related experience) is required.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n3 years of Facilities/Utilities equipment maintenance experience is strongly preferred.\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of and ability to repair and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\n\nDemonstrated ability to perform basic electrical repairs like sensor replacements, electrical connections, motor wiring and others.\n\nDemonstrated skill in interpreting and applying specifications, blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions in order to perform installation, repair, and modification work.\n\nComputer skills (Word, Excel, email, internet).\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of safety compliance.\n\nGood oral and written communication skills.\n\nPreferred knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including validation issues and change control processes.\n\nLocation - this role is based in: Lincoln, Nebraska.
