Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.\nJob Duties\nRole Overview:\nThe Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for executing accounting control and reporting activities related to client, inter-company, and inter-division invoicing in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. The role ensures full compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and standard operating procedures.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage end-to-end invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of billing activities.\nDevelop a thorough understanding of client contracts, including payment terms, financing arrangements, subsidiary involvement, third-party participation, and royalty agreements to ensure correct invoicing.\nReview and validate all supporting documentation required for invoicing, such as executed contracts, sales orders, field tickets, job logs, job summaries, and work orders.\nPrepare, review, and maintain billing documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contractual obligations.\nMonitor billing due lists and identify invoices ready for processing and submission.\nSubmit invoices to customers in accordance with customer-specific requirements and guidelines.\nTrack and resolve rejected invoices through functional mailboxes, escalating issues to FSCM where required.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with customers and cross-functional teams, including Finance & Accounting, CFS, Business Development, and Field Operations.\nQualifications\nEducational Qualifications:\nAny Graduate or MBA in Finance (or equivalent)\nExperience:\n4-7 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or related finance functions\nKey Knowledge & Competencies:\nRevenue Recognition Policies\nAccruals and Provisions Accounting\nUnderstanding of Incoterms\nBad Debt Management and Recovery Concepts\nHalliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
