Our International Sales team are recruiting! Do you think you could be our new Application Engineer?

Are you passionate about technology, building strong customer relationships and finding ways to improve? Do you enjoy bringing people together, solving problems and turning customer needs into practical solutions? If so, we want to hear from you!

Apollo is an innovative manufacturing company that works with OEM and panel partners to deliver reliable fire detection solutions. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with customers and colleagues across Product Management, Systems, Engineering and Compliance, helping to ensure our products meet customer needs and are ready for market.

You will act as a key technical point of contact for our OEM and panel partners, championing the customer voice and coordinating responses to technical queries, product changes, roadmaps and certification requirements. Working alongside our Account Managers and internal teams, you will help improve product readiness, strengthen partner confidence and ensure clear, consistent communication from initial enquiry through to resolution.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Build strong working relationships with priority OEM and panel partners, working alongside Account Managers to understand customer needs and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate partner enquiries, technical requests and feedback, ensuring they reach the right internal teams and are followed through to resolution.
  • Provide clear, accurate and customer-ready updates on product roadmaps, new product releases, product changes, availability, approvals and certifications.
  • Coordinate the weekly System Product Review, tracking actions, decisions, ownership and progress to help remove delays and improve responsiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Management, Systems, Engineering and Compliance to assess technical requirements, product compatibility, feasibility and launch readiness.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of partner enquiries, actions, decisions and outcomes, providing visibility of progress, recurring issues and potential risks.
  • Identify potential risks to customer launch plans and product readiness, escalating issues early and ensuring partners receive realistic expectations and timely updates.
  • Champion continuous improvement, effective cross-functional working and a consistent, joined-up approach to customer communication.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A customer-focused approach, with the confidence to understand requirements, advocate for customer needs and manage expectations.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple requests, track actions and ensure timely follow-through.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand technical requirements and bring the right people together to find solutions.
  • The ability to communicate technical information clearly and accurately to different audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement, accountability and working across teams.

If you are motivated by challenge, enjoy working collaboratively and want to make a real difference to our customers and our business, we want to hear from you. Join Team Apollo, where everyone has the opportunity to make a difference.
