Subject to change.\nThe Disc Fabricator plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process, responsible for manufacturing various rupture disc products according to OE Procedures, lot cards, drawings, and work orders. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute directly to the production of high-quality pressure relief solutions.\nKey Job Responsibilities:\nDetermine the required thickness of disk material using established formulas and procedures.\n\nCut materials using cutting tables or square shears.\n\nSet up the proper die in hydraulic or air press.\n\nBlank and form material while conducting burst testing.\n\nAdjust burst pressure through annealing or stress relieving in heat treat ovens.\n\nPerform temperature testing if required.\n\nAccurately record pertinent lot card data, stamp disk name tags, and attach them to the disk assembly.\n\nEffectively operate air and hydraulic presses, ovens, power and hand shears, nibblers, punches, layout equipment, punch presses, and any other equipment necessary for the fabrication process.\n\nAssure that all shipments are accurate, meeting specification requirements, current work instructions and dispatched on time.\n\nProactively notify the appropriate supervisor of any arising problems, while developing effective work plans to maintain job schedules.\n\nConduct meticulous checks and implement necessary corrections on all parts to exceed customer expectations.\n\nEffective verbal communication skills exhibiting OE Values and Behaviors.\n\nWorking knowledge of OE Company Handbook & Safety Policies.\n\nProficiency in reading and interpreting documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\n\nAptitude in applying basic mathematical concepts for measurements and calculations, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\n\nCapability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.\n\nCompetence in problem-solving involving several variables in standardized situations.\n\nBasic computer skills to navigate business systems and preform data entry.\n\nAttention to detail in data entry to the ERP System for inventory transactions (kitting jobs) and clocking into jobs to accurately record time on the job.\n\nExperience using business systems such as SAP, Epicor, Oracle, or D365.\n\nAbility to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.\n\nEffective multitasking capabilities, enabling
