Every instrument is built to order in Tucson, AZ, so precision and attention to detail matter at every stage - including the final steps of getting the right product safely to the right customer.\nPosition Summary\nThe Kitting/Shipping Associate plays a key role in fulfilling built-to-order instrument shipments. This person pulls, kits, and packages components and finished instruments accurately, then prepares outbound shipments to customers around the world. This is an evening shift role, ideal for someone who works well independently and keeps orders moving accurately as the day's production wraps up. Because each unit is custom-configured, close attention to work orders, part numbers, and packing accuracy is essential.\nKey Responsibilities\nPull parts, accessories, and components from inventory according to work orders/kit lists\nAssemble kits for production and customer orders, verifying correct part numbers, quantities, and revisions\nPackage finished mass flow/pressure instruments and accessories securely for domestic and international shipment\nPrepare shipping documentation, including packing slips, labels, and (for international orders) customs/export paperwork\nProcess shipments via common carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight) and select appropriate service levels\nMaintain accurate inventory records; report discrepancies or shortages\nInspect outgoing products for damage or missing components before shipment\nKeep kitting and shipping work areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards\nCollaborate with production, warehouse, and customer service teams to meet order deadlines\nOperate warehouse equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, label printers, etc.) as needed\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n1+ years of experience in kitting, shipping/receiving, warehouse, or inventory environment (manufacturing setting a plus)\nFamiliarity with ERP/inventory systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) preferred\nExperience with shipping software (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager) a plus\nComfortable reading work orders, BOMs, and part numbers with precision\nBasic knowledge of export/customs documentation a plus, not required\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nAbility to lift up to 40-50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods\nReliable, organized, and able to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
