Responsible for starting-up equipment, equipment operation and shut down and slit lamp operation for lens inspection\nInspect final product to ensure quality measures and standards are met\nFollow all employee guidelines and Quality Systems Regulations (QSR's) as defined by Volk's practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure customer requirements and FDA (or equivalent) regulations are met.\nThoroughly read and follow all job sheets, production drawings and MAI's\nWork well with various internal and external engineering and other support disciplines to perform troubleshooting, data collection and to resolve assembly problems.\nAssist in training of employees at the discretion of the supervisor.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Device Assembler, Technical or Operator preferred\nAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.\nThe ability to read and comprehend simple instructions such as Manufacturing Assembly Instructions, Quality Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.\nThe ability to perform simple writing tasks such as recording log entries, lot numbers and dates.\nThe ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure,
