You'll take ownership of a portfolio of strategic projects - applying structured planning, sound decision-making and strong stakeholder engagement to deliver on time, in scope and on budget, all while supporting Fortress's continued growth.\nWhat you'll be doing\nShaping project direction through strategic thinking, aligning initiatives with Fortress's wider business goals and PMO strategy\nLeading and delivering multiple projects simultaneously, defining scope, goals and deliverables with all stakeholders\nProactively solving problems and making timely decisions to keep projects on track\nBuilding and managing strong relationships across the business, with distributors and with customers\nCommunicating and influencing confidently at all levels, translating complex project detail into clear updates\nPlanning and prioritising competing project demands, managing resources, risks and timelines\nChampioning continuous improvement, refining and following our New Product Development process\nMotivating and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver results, even without formal authority\nWhat you'll bring\nProven project management experience, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment\nStrong strategic thinking, connecting individual projects to wider business objectives\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, comfortable navigating ambiguity under time pressure\nSkilled stakeholder management, building trusted relationships at all levels\nStrong communication and influencing skills across diverse teams and senior stakeholders\nEffective planning and prioritisation across multiple concurrent projects\nA continuous improvement mindset, always seeking smarter ways of working\nUniversity degree or equivalent experience gained on the job\n Must have the right to work in the UK (this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship) \nNice to have\nFormal project management certification, e.g. PRINCE2, APM or Agile/Scrum\nExperience with project management software/tools, e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet\nExperience in a regulated or safety-critical engineering sector\nWhat we offer\n25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays\nPension - employer contribution up to 10.5%\nCompany bonus scheme\nAirport parking discounts\nEyecare support\nCycle to work scheme\nAnnual Halma share vesting scheme\nLong service recognition\nLife assurance cover\nInclusion & belonging At Fortress, we don't just accept difference - we celebrate it.
