The group hasnearly 50businessesoperatingthrough four sectors (Medical, Environmental & Analysis, Process Safety, Infrastructure Safety) in more than 20 countries and major operations in Europe, North and South America and Asia, supplying customers in 160 countries and employing more than 6,600 people worldwide.\nThe Senior Buyerwillbe responsible fordriving procurement,supplier performance,andSupply Chain Cost Out (Supplier Transition)projects.This role requires strongleadershipinternally as well as with suppliers,precise ordermanagement,andclearcommunication.The Buyermust manage multiple priorities in a global supply chain.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nProcurement & Sourcing: Own an end-to-end procurement process - including RFQ preparation, quote analysis, supplier selection, price and term negotiation, PO placement, and order follow-up - in accordance with internal procedures and in alignment with system demand (ERP), technical drawings, qualified manufacturer listings (QML/QPL), and applicable customer or regulatory documentation.\nDelivery Management: Own end-to-end purchase order delivery management, including supplier schedule alignment, expediting, recovery planning, and risk mitigation to ensure on-time fulfillment of production demand.\nSupplier Relationship Management: Develop, Onboard, and Manage supplier performance following processes and leveraging business reviews, scorecards and other tools.\nSupport strategic sourcing initiatives to drive Cost Out at the commodity level.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams for logistics, discrepant material resolution, project needs, documentation requirements.\nSupport process improvement, daily standups.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field and/or CPSM/CPIM preferred).\n5-7 years of experience in procurement with focus on machined components, forgings, castings, or similar technical commodities.\nBackground in mechanical engineering a plus.\nStrong knowledge of industrial supply chain standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements; Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry a plus.\nExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) and with ability to work across cultures and time zones.\nProficiency with Microsoft applications, ERP systems (Epicor preferred, SAP, Oracle), and LEAN principles.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.\nWork Conditions and Physical Requirements:\nThis is an in-office position, based out of Santa Fe Springs, CA\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer\nMust work most hours overlapping production\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times\nSome travel may be required, up to 10%\nThe anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000 annually, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.\nCosasco is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
