You'll report to the Head of Supply Chain.\nYou'll own supplier quality and compliance from start to finish: supplier selection and approval, development, risk management and continuous improvement. We're part of Halma plc, a FTSE 100 company with over 8,000 employees across 50+ subsidiaries worldwide.\nWhat you'll be doing\nActing as the lead point of contact for supplier quality, working with our supplier quality team in China and our global internal quality team\nDefining, putting in place and improving global supplier quality processes, including supplier evaluation, approval, NPI and change activities\nLeading supplier issue resolution, from problem definition and containment through root cause analysis to corrective and preventive actions\nWorking closely with Procurement on strategy, category management and supplier relationships\nBringing new ideas to supplier risk assessment and mitigation\nSupporting responsible sourcing and compliance, and helping manage supply shortages and disruption\nSupporting new product introduction with supplier readiness and capability\nTravelling in the UK and abroad as needed\nWhat you'll bring\nMust-have\nExperience in a leading role developing supplier quality teams, ideally in a progressive or high-growth environment\nBroad supplier and manufacturing quality expertise, including component engineering\nExperience supporting customer and third-party audits (compliance, certification, management systems)\nProven supplier risk assessment across business, design, quality, manufacturing, testing and sustainability\nA strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS/EMS) and core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA and control plans\nHands-on experience in electronics and mechanical manufacturing, with strong problem-solving and failure analysis skills\nNice-to-have\nKnowledge of mechanical commodities: castings, machining and plastics\nKnowledge of electronics: PCBs, semiconductors and assemblies\nFamiliarity with assembly and test processes such as SMT and box build, plus traceability and ESD/IPC standards\nWhat we offer\n25 days' holiday plus bank holidays\nOption to work a 9-day fortnight (compressed hours)\nPension with employer contributions of up to 10.5%\nCompany bonus scheme\nAnnual Halma share vesting scheme\nLife assurance\nEyecare\nBike to work scheme\nAirport parking discounts\nLong service recognition\nInclusion and belonging\nAt Fortress, we don't just accept difference, we celebrate it.
